Great Experience with Noelle!. I visited the Green Level to Durham Road location. I am always very hesitant to let someone new touch my hair and I have very finicky hair to say the least! Noelle took the time to answer all of my questions and I had A LOT. She is patient and very hospitable. She's very professional and made me feel at ease as soon as I sat in her chair. She took into account my diet and medications I'm on as well as hair products and my styling routine before applying color which is very important. I haven't had a haircut this good in years. She knows what she's doing! She took the time needed to get my hair the way I wanted. I have recommended her to everyone I know! Seriously, Noelle is AWESOME!

Do not recommend - Andy!. I wish I had read the reviews from RSmith021 as I am new to North Carolina and went to Andy. Needless to say, when I repeatedly told her I did not want to cut off length since I was growing out my layers and length, she proceeded to cut 3 inches off to even out my layers. The customer is the one who has to live with the results and I have already found another salon seeking out to find somewhere that respects and listens to their customers.

I do NOT recommend Andy. Furthermore, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes as Andy was fitting in more clients due to another stylist calling in sick. This was a nice gesture on her part, but she was clearly disappointing all the current customers in the meantime. I felt like a number, definitely not a valued customer.

WONDERFUL, EXCEPT for ONE stylist. I just want to say that I had a wonderful experience with everyone there, EXCEPT for this one stylist ... I believe her name was Andy. Her client did not like her hair cut, and when she said something, Andy just rolled her eyes. And then proceeded to fuss at some of her co-workers in the back. I would think if her boss heard/saw her, she'd be fired on the spot .. At least I'd hope she would. Miss Queen Bee needs a wakeup call.

All in All, J&F Gemelli is a wonderful salon and hires experienced stylists who care and give great services, EXCEPT for Andy. Please, I urge you .. Go to one of the other locations or other stylists.

Get a personality. Good haircut but stylist could have tried to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I do not know if there was some prejudice or personal issues...I felt so unwelcome. No one inquired if I wanted to re-book or purchase product or how my service was. Unprofessional and lost my business for treating me so poorly. Made no attempt to converse with me, frowned the entire time. You can always train for skills, personality in client based business is a must. Good luck!

Horrible Haircut. I am new to the area and the salon I previously went to was very high end. This salon markets themselves that way and indicates that they carry products like B&B to make you think they are. They are not. I merely went in for an eyebrow wax and hair trim and it was awful. First I wanted an 30 minutes after my appointment time for the wax and the woman came out only after I complained and she was eating. I am growing my hair out so all she had to do was trim. She did not even do that. My layers were choppy and my hair was uneven in the front. I asked her to fix it and she said it was not uneven that's just how the cut is. I left and went to a different salon that fixed my hair. I have never been so disappointed anything. Do not make the mistake of going here.

Will not repeat mistake of getting cut here. I wanted to have my hair restyled so I made an appointment with a master creative stylist, Antonella. I took a picture of the style I wanted and talked about it with her before my haircut. She told me, no problem I love the challenge of restyling someone's hair. She was very friendly and we had a good conversation, but when she was finished blow drying it out I realized she had merely trimmed the ends of my current style and totally ignored what I wanted. I could have demanded she recut my hair, but when a stylist proves they aren't listening to you I don't want to take the chance of having it ruined for months until it can grow back out.

Bad Facials. DO NOT go here for facials. Prices are exorbitant and they don't even do a decent enough job. Face massage and exfoliation were crappy. She dint even give enough steam to my face and started extracting on closed pores which hurt(hope they don't leave a scar).

Will never go back here for facials.

JF Gemelli, Lochmere Pavillion. I have been a client at the Kildaire Farm Road salon for over 15 years. Teresa does my hair and color and she is fantastic. I am sorry to read some of the negative reviews above. I have friends who use this Lochmere location and they always look great. Ask for Teresa, she is a colorist and stylist and does great work. As I understand it Darrell has moved to another salon somewhere in the area (Fall, 2009)

GREAT SALON EXPIRENCE. I dont typically take the time to write reviews but, in this instance I thought that it only right to give credit to this salon. I havent been a client for long but the last three apointments I did have were excellent. My sched is a bit crazy so I had to see a different stylist each time but, given my circumstance I still got the service I needed when I needed it! I saw Jay, Fabian, and Matthew at different locations which was actually interesting because the level of attentiveness and appeal to simply sit and be transformed was unwavering. Also the assistant "Brie" did an excellent job when straightening my hair which I have a world of difficulty doing myself. I could tell in my years of expirence with other salons in Syracuse NY and California that places like J&F are hard to find. When I left, I felt lifted and I think thats the best thing you can hope for in a salon. Even when I walked into the doors I was treated from the receptionist desk until I was sitting in a chair. I'm actually excited about my next apt!

Great Place to get a really great cut. MY stylist Homi is just great. I can sit down and let her

cut my hair knowing that she will do it right. This is

a hard thing to find in this area of the country.

I just love Homi and feel very comfortable with her and

I like the atmosphere of the whole salon.

I am intimidated by a lot of upscale shops, but not this

one.
