Worst experience ever!. I wouldn't even give this salon one star but that's the lowest you can rate the place! I had the WORST experience at this salon (and I have worked as a receptionist at a salon in Chicago and my sister is a hairstylist) I went here to get a touch up (base bump - which by the way the stylist, Jose, had no idea what I was talking about at first!) and highlights, something I routinely get. To start off, they had messed up my appt and the receptionist had scheduled me for a haircut on a Sat (the only day I could go because I had just had a baby) So, after driving all the way there and sitting in the chair having a consultation with Jose, he said he didn't have time to do it because they had scheduled it wrong. So I had to come back the following weekend. After going over yet again what was to be done to my hair, Jose still didn't even know what he was doing! It was ridiculous! Finally, when he was finished with just the touch up on my roots, he insisted I didn't need any highlights (when I knew I was due for them) Whatever, at this point I just wanted to get out of there! I asked him as he was messily blow drying my hair if it can be flat ironed as well, and he said it would cost extra he thinks (doesn't he know?! I would think it would be a common service at a salon!) I said that's fine, and he replied "Oh I don't have time to do it I think I have my next client waiting" Horrible customer service!! I couldn't believe he wouldn't just take the extra 5 min to flat iron it! Or, if he really didn't have time, ask another stylist (all of whom were just sitting around by the front desk) if they can do it! I was so disgusted and annoyed that I would have to leave with my hair all poufy since it is naturally wavy that I ended up leaving with it in a ponytail. To make matters worse, nobody was waiting in the waiting area to be seen and as I left I saw Jose out in the mall area on his phone! He never had a client waiting he is just lazy!!! One more thing, when I had called immediately after on my way home to speak to a manager I was told she wasn't in and would leave a message to have her call me - which also never happened!

Mark Anthony - Best in Raleigh. Mark really knows what he's doing. He's great with color and cuts. He gives great suggestions. I'm glad I found him!

Best UPDOS!. I made an appointment with Mitchell's to do my bridal hairstyle (I had an intimate wedding, but still wanted to look the part). The updo was amazing and I can't recommend this place enough for just that service. I have no experience with the cuts or colors, but I think I will try it out since I am sick of bad haircuts/color.

Martha is the best!. Boy did I luck out! My parents were in town and I've been trying to convince my 60+ year old mother to wear her hair shorter for years. She finally gave in, so I called Michell's right away......thankfully Martha had an opening right away (which is rare). She was wonderful! My mom has MS and is in a wheelchair so it took a lot longer than normal to move her from one place to another, etc. Martha was very patient and pleasant. She even hooked my dad up with a massage chair in the men's spa area to relax in while mom was being pampered. In the end my mom looked great, I enjoyed hanging out while she got her hair done, and even dad didn't mind spending 2+ hours in the salon. Erin did my mom's eyebrows, they look great too! We're certainly going to go back there soon. Great service, great stylists! Thanks so much!

A++ Mark Anthony. There are dozens of Mitchell's Hair Styling salons but only one Mark Anthony.

When you are in Mark's chair you have his undivided attention. He doesn't rush, takes his time, and does a wonderful job. Not only is he skilled at different cutting techniques he can also style. No need to go home and wash your hair just to "fix" it the way you like it.You leave the salon happy and ready to go out. Just tell Mark how you want it styled and he'll take care of you.

Go see Mark! He is at the Mitchell's located inside Triangle Town by the Belk entrance.

Mark Anthony is the Perfect Hairstylist. Mark is a personable, knowledgeable stylist. He really makes you feel comfortable in his chair. Personally, I have a huge head of thick, long hair and he is the first stylist I've been to who hasn't had a look of horror on their face when I pull out my ponytail. My hair has never been healthier or looked better. Mark definitely knows what he's doing. He knows how to make you look good!

Terrific Hairstylist. I was referred to Mark Anthony about 18 months ago and he has just been terrific. He is the first hair stylist I've been to who treats his job as a true profession. He is an extremely good listener and never rushes through a client to get to another. His attention to detail makes you feel as if you are his only client.

Mark Anthony is the best. Mark Anthony always listens and discusses your wishes with you. He knows his hair styling and he knows his stuff when it comes to color. He is the best!!

Mark Anthony is Hair Guru. For years I avoided going to hair salons to get yet another haircut that I couldn't maintain on my own. I decided to try Mitchell's Hair Salon a little over a year ago. I explained that I needed someone who could help me figure out what to do with my hair - I needed a professional look that I could maintain on my own. They set me up with Mark Anthony and I've been truly happy with my hair style. As long as Mark is in the triangle area, I'll be relying on his excellent skill as a hair stylist. I recommend him very highly!
