terriffic place!. i have been following debbie ray for 15 years, so obviously i think she's great. i like this salon, everyone is friendly, no one is pretentious. the salon itself is inviting and comfy, wjth lots of interesting art. i've never found the parking difficult. what's not to like?…
The best salon for sure!. I have been a client of Out of My Head for years and I love the place. The stylists are so professional and knowledgeable - always eager to discuss options for my hair and they even help me out by suggesting the best ways to get the results I want when I have to fix my own hair (blow-drying, etc.). They give me tips and tricks that I can actually use. All of the stylists are very nice and the place is just so cool. It's this old house that they have fixed up inside with awesome rooms, cool music and hand-made art is hanging around in every room. It is just so comfortable and relaxing. Not stuffy like some salons, just the opposite actually. You will feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants a relaxing, feel-good experience. Thanks ladies! :)…
Best Salon in the Triangle. I have been a client of Out of My Head Salon for over eight years and l just love this place. The employees are friendly, professional and very knowledgable. I've never had to have a cut or color redone and I get a cut and color at every appointment! The salon is cool without being pretentious, and I always look forward to my appointment 'cause we have a ball!. The rates are in line with what other salons in the area charge, the only difference is at Out of My Head you always get great service.…
If you really want to make an entrance..... I have been a client of Out of My Head salon since it opened and I have always had wonderful experiences. The entire staff is professional and friendly. My personal stylist is Trish but all the clients I see walk out of the salon look great. I have had a variety of looks over the years from conservative to funky and they?re all been fun and functional. Trish always had great ideas and suggestions and I never get bored or feel that I?m stuck in a style. Trish is a true color genius; my hair always looks natural. People are constantly asking me where I get my hair done and I always recommend this salon.…
In response to 4/6/08 review...Wrong salon reviewed?. I have to respond to to the negative review received by TaylorJ on 4/6/08. I feel very strongly that this review was left in error and that Out of my Head was not the intended Salon. The reasons I know this to be true are due to the facts that this Salon 1st of all has a dress code in which no shorts are allowed as well as flip flops. (None of the stylists in this salon would even consider wearing Khaki shorts or flip flops) There are 4 stylists including the owner and not one of them would dress in such a manner. As for the gum chewing... I can't fathom any of the stylists chewing gum let alone "chomp" it. T I also hate to admit that when the salon is full parking can get a little crowded and would not be listed as a pro. Herbal teas, coffee, water, & chocolates are always offered. Other treats also offered for Holidays. 2 Years ago the salon hosted a private client appreciation party at Cafe Luna for all of it's customers and guests which provided music, wine and spirits, and hours dourves. Most recently, this salon hosted a cut-a-thon to benefit Interact of Wake County. I would hate for this salon to get a bad rep because someone mistakenly reviewed this one instead of another salon. I stand behind the fact that this is a fabulous place with incredible stylists who stand behind the quality of their work and most definitely would go above and beyond to rectify something quickly, professionally, and never compromise the integrity of anyone's hair if it were not to the desired result. More importantly, I do not consider this to be an overpriced salon. For the individual attention, time, and care that is put in to services (appointments are not booked in between), I truly feel as though the service and experience is worth so much more than the payment required. I encourage you to stop in the salon anytime to take a look around. They will welcome you & you will not be disappointed. This salon is truly one of the best in the triangle.…
