Raleigh >Buffalo Brothers Pizza & Wing
Don't waste your money. You can open cans at home.
Totally bad food for dinner. Wait staff was good but what came out on the plates was the worst. What are they thinking. This is the Lake Boone location. I don't know about the other location but I would feed this stuff to my dogs actually they ate better then we did tonight. We opened better cans then they did. I would suggest that they either get a chef or a cook that has some ability.
If your going to serve on plate anyway why not serve everything on dishes rather than serve all condiments in plastic disposable containers; very costly and not very green!!! Wont be going back.
Perfect family location. My husband works over off of Blue Ridge road and we heard that this place just opened up off Lake Boone. We have been to the capital location a few times to watch N.C. State games and enjoyed it. I met him for lunch and was surprised at how nice it looks. Since my husband only had an hour we were hoping to get in and out so he could get back to work. When we got there we saw that they had a lunch buffet set up. He got the buffet and i got the bbq chicken salad. The salad was amazing. Service was fast and polite. We even got a chance to meet the owner who was a nice guy. Only wish it was nice so i could have sat on the patio. A must visit.
New Buffalo Brothers located on Lake Boone Trail.
Buffalo Brothers, located on Lake Boone Trial - new to the area, thought I'd give it a try for lunch. The Capital Blvd location has always had wonderful service and excellent food. Well the new location was a bust!
I ordered a Rueben sandwich and received a grilled corn beef sandwich. The sandwich was missing the sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing! I waited for my server to come back to ask how everything was so I could ask for a side of sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing but never saw him until my lunch hour was just about up. By the time the waiter did return, I had eaten all the fries and 2 bites out of the sandwich. He asked how everything was; I told him what the sandwich was missing. The manager came over & asked what was wrong, I explained the lack of sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing on the Rueben. She apologized and for all my trouble, she knocked off half of my bill. So for $5.48 I received fries and an ice tea.
The service was horrible, the management was worse and upon exiting, I was asked by the host how everything was. When I told him, he just stood there with his mouth agape. Why do they ask when they don't want to hear? So I hope everyone hears this! For OK fries, go to Buffalo Brothers on Lake Boone, but for a great Rueben, don’t go to a chicken wing place.
Nice Place but Poor Management. Seven of us came out to Buffalo Brothers Pizza & Wing Company off of Capital Blvd to celebrate birthdays. It was the first time we had been there. We were told that appetizers were 1/2 off so we ordered three different ones with drinks. Two in our party ordered Chardonnay, which they were out of and the other one ordered a Sangria, which they said they no longer serve. Some at the table had coupons, which said one coupon per table but we asked could use them seeing as we had already been somewhat inconvenienced with our drink order. The waiter asked the manager and she said no. We asked to see the manager personally and very nicely explained our experience thus far thinking she would offer up some good customer serivce but not only did she say no but she was extremely rude! Once we were finished eating and the waiter brought us our bill he had to explain that the "manager" would not combine the (1) coupon with the 1/2 off appetizers, although the coupon was for an entree not an appetizer. Wish we had been told this from the beginning! We ordered alot of food and had a sizable tab to be treated so badly. The waiter was extremely apologetic and we felt bad for him. It's a shame to have a nice establishment with good food but because of poor management, it has cost them seven new customers.
Not that great. Let me start out by saying I have been to Buffalo Brothers 3 times, and always with the same group of people. I'm also a server myself, so I tend to give waiters/waitresses the benefit of the doubt often. However, I don't appreciate having a waitress roll her eyes multiple times while taking our order, when asked for refills, and when asked to split the checks. If she had given us a few minutes to decide which wings to order, we may have been more prepared to order in a concise manner. I wasn't much impressed by the wings anyway, only enjoying the spicy garlic Parmesan of the several flavors we ordered. My husband and our friends liked the cheesy fries, but I did not try them (I don't like cheesy fries anywhere, not just Buffalo Brothers). I once ordered a personal pizza with pineapple and jalapeno instead of trying and again disliking the wings, and it was good enough. I wasn't expecting much.
Great Place for Game Night!. A group of friends and I visited Buffalo Brothers on a big game night. Very busy, yet the service was quick and friendly! The food was tasty, but the wings are no match for independent and authentic wing joints with northern influence. I admit, I'm partial, having grown up, up north! It was good, nonetheless. Lots and lots of TVs, so you can always see and hear the game...and not just one or two sporting events, you have a choice of many! The restaurant was clean, the service was fine, they had a great menu selection, and the food was super. My only complaints are that the place was heavy with cigarette smoke (I guess it's expected in a sports bar), and the restaurant is not located in the best part of town, BUT it is very accessible to/from the beltline.
BBs from Buffalo NY??. I heard these guys talking about there franchise in Brier Creek. Each person was from South Carolina. Maybe they bought a franchise. From one visit I can tell they haven't every had really good NY Pizza or wings and I'm not even from NY.... Just travel to upstate NY a lot and tasted really good homemade food with fresh ingredients.
Good food, good service, a fun time. I'm a wing snob. These are the best I've had in the Triangle. Fried mozzarella was awesome. Its a great place to have a bar experience, very friendly & attentive service, & fair prices. Its worth the drive up or down Capital Blvd, trust me.
Great Place in General. Has that CHEERS atmoshpere.
Although I have been in Raleigh longer than I care to mention, up until 2 months ago, I have never been here before. I was in the area to get my son a Playstation from a nearby shop and decided to pop in while waiting. We had wonderful food and great service. The wings are great (have not had the Pizza yet) and you MUST try the Cheesy Garlic Bread with dipping sauce - YUM! I have been stopping in when I get a chance ever since then and good food, service and fun every time.
Nicole and Jen.......YOU BOTH ROCK !!!
For quite sometime I have thought to try Buffalo Bros. but HATE going down Capital Blvd. So today I sucked it up and decided not to let an awful street to drive on stop me from a craving I had for "Authentic Buffalo Style Pizza".
Look I grew up in Buffalo and have distant relatives operate the busiest pizzeria in Buffalo, La Nova. Even though La Nova's is my favorite, the fact is there are many places to go to get an excellent slice of pizza in Buffalo. So upon reading the info on Buffalo Brother's website I was sold & figured it wouldn't be as good as La Nova's but like I said many places in Buffalo have great pizza. These guys at Buffalo Brothers say that they are from Buffalo and wanted to bring down the best food Buffalo has to offer including wings, pizza, Beef on Weck, etc, so I figured I had a good chance to satisfy my craving. I ordered two large pizza's to go and I hate to say it but was very disappointed. First of all this "Large Pizza" would be called medium back home. I thought it was small. But once I tasted it, I was glad it was. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad tasting, but it wasn't even close to being as good as what you can get from ANY Buffalo Pizzeria. Just like building a house, you need to have a sound foundation to have a quality house, pizza needs to have good crust . The crust did not look hand made, if it was I'd be shocked. It honestly looked and tasted like grocery store crust. I also thought they were skimpy on the sauce and cheese. The sauce wasn't horrible but, even if it was good, when you put good sauce on poor quality crust, it doesn't matter. Another giveaway that the crust wasn't hand made is hand made crust has a rolled edge and is not flat. Also it didn't taste like it was freshly made, it tasted like it was heated up, just a cheese pizza with toppings added to order.
I will give them one more try for the beef on weck and wings because I being from Buffalo, I really want to like them, but not good so far.
