Excellent. Anyone who claims that this company delivers low quality foods should learn how to cook! I'm sure that classes are offered at Wake Tech and are fairly accessible to the general public. That being said, I understand the reluctance of any reasonable person to deal with "shady" or intoxicated delivery men trying to make an extra buck--I've seen many such individuals from Omega, who tell me that they have a "few extra" on the truck that they are letting go at a great price. Naturally, I tell these individuals exactly how uninterested I am. Recently, however, I was surprised when the actual Warehouse Manager, Denver, and the local Route Manager, Dwight, came to my door and asked for help. They explained to me that a driver had called in today, and that his deliveries were scheduled for that evening in Rocky Mount. Denver and Dwight were planning on going to a Dave Matthews Band concert that night and had received authorization from the company's owner to let the food that the driver was supposed to deliver go out at the company's cost, while rescheduling the food's original delivery time. I was a little bit skeptical at first, but once it became apparent that I wasn't conversing with ex-convicts I was immediately put at ease. And thank goodness I was. I ended up getting nearly 250 pounds of choice rated meat for $600! I even weighed it myself. I asked Denver what the deal was with drivers stopping by and trying to sell meat (though they were clearly not meant to be salespeople and should have stuck with their primary task for the day: delivering food), and he explained that he does offer his employees bonuses for signing up first time buyers, and that such buyers often receive their food at company cost as well. The best part of the whole thing was that as an added bonus for helping them out, Denver and Dwight promised to lock me in at the company cost rate, which I have taken advantage of on several occasions! To the person below: I'm not sure how you ended up paying $10 per pound with this company, but maybe it had something to do with that specific delivery driver scamming you--you never know what an unscrupulous individual will do to make an extra buck. My experience with the managers, however, has been wonderful, and I would recommend buying from them to any of my friends and neighbors!
Best Irish Pub in Raleigh. Really love this place. This is where me and my friends hang out every Friday and Saturday night. It's not a large pub, but that is what makes it so great. The staff is awesome, the bartenders are terrific, and the music and entertainment on Friday and Saturday night are awesome. Fridays have a band or soloist that come up on stage from around 10:00 to 2:00 am, and Saturdays are Karaoke night which is a must see.
Quick service, Greasy food. It's a great bar. But, an Irish Pub has to offer better fish and chips! May give it another try for the sandwiches that I have seen raving reviews detail.
Great Service - Great time. I am new in town and walked pasted this place (the Raleigh location) and stopped in for lunch. I sat in the front which is prime for people watching. I ate a great burger and had a beer, The service was great and the food was great. I ended up going back the next morning for brunch.
Brilliant. I love the food, service and atmosphere. Reminds me of some pubs I used to frequent back in the UK. Highly recommend.
The sandwiches!! The delicious, delicious sandwiches!. I've never had a single bad experience here. The service is consistently good and the food is always fresh and delicious. I don't know exactly how "authentically Irish" it is with tortellini on the menu and all but it is definitely worth a try if you're considering it.
Great atmosphere food and beer. My husband and I love to meet our friends here for dinner and drinks. Especially if they are from "up North" the food is always good, the drinks go just right with both the food and atmosphere, and you're not surrounded by tv's in every corner ( there are a few, discreetly placed for those who need their fix. When it comes to Irish pub's you can't beat Hibernian, both in Cary and Raleigh
If you like bad service and a smoky atmosphere this is for you. We were so happy when HP came to cary. The one on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh was great. But we have been four times, each time avg food, slow service watered-down drinks and incredibly smoky atmosphere.
Great place to spend a night. This is a spot you can go when you're asking yourself "Self, what do you want to do?" It has music, all kinds of people, food, drinks; I don't know about martinis,(what idiot orders a martini in an Irish pub) and good service. It's a great place to spend the weekend.
Cary's own version of a hip Irish pub offers live music and a spacious patio..
In Short
Like its counterpart on Raleigh's Glenwood South, the Hibernian in Cary is a proper Irish outpost of good cheer. The over-the-top decor quickly grows on you as you get comfortable. As with the Raleigh pub, it's a predominately young professional crowd. The Hibernian does an excellent job of creating lots of cool little spaces to sit with someone in particular or a group of friends. If the weather is right, try the comfortable outdoor seating.
