Cash is not King at WH/BM. The customer service was outstanding and the associate that help me went out of her way to help me make decisions on clothes for my wife. But, I have a huge problem with WH/BM company policy on returns. My wife tried to return over $300 in clothes that I purchased for her in cash (I'm a very poor shopper). WH/BM would not let her return the one day old items because company policy will not allow them to carry that much money in the register. They offered to send us a check that would take more than a week for us to receive, they offered to place the money on our credit card (our money then becomes subject to interest charges). WH/BM policy clearly states that you will be refunded in the same tender at which you presented at the point of sale. Cash is not king at WH/BM, so make sure you bring a credit card or you will be screwed by their return policy. By the way, my wife wanted to use that money to purchase something for our anniversary date and WH/BM return policy ruined it for her.

Poor return service and overzealous sales. Attention prior to purchase was good, however sales assistants said EVERYTHING looked good, which was not the case. Two of the skirts I tried on pulled across the front and back, clearly a bad fit. Assistants were eager to sell me just about anything, but when it came time to return, which I did within a week , (30 day limit) with tags on, AND a receipt, their attitude changed from a helpful one to one of cold reserve. Absolutely no eye contact was made during the return transaction and my attempts at friendly chat were ignored. Nothing was said to me to me at all during the return and when I thanked them, I received no response. It was as if they were angry that I made a return, despite my having kept a shirt. The return expereince was so negative that I would be reluctant to ever shop there again. I am even considering returning the item I bought, not because I don't like it, but on principle alone. Wearing it will remind me of the rude way I was treated.
