Very impressed

I was so pleased and impressed with the service I received at this spa. I booked a "party" for my daughter on her 9th birthday. It was for her and 3 of her friends to get manicures and pedicures. When I made the appointment I met and talked with the person who I thought was going to be the one doing the nails. I talked with her specifically about what I wanted. I wanted the girls to have mini-manicures and pedicures and I wanted them to each choose a design for their thumbs and big toes. We agreed on a price and it was all set. When it came to the day of the appointment, someone else from the spa called me to see if we could come in earlier. I explained that it was a party and that we could not come any earlier. I was told that the person whom I was expecting was not going to be there that day but another technician could do the job. I was a little apprehensive but it all worked out very well. When we arrived, they offered the girls a non-alcoholic green beverage, which was served in wine glasses. The girls really enjoyed that. There were two technicians working together with my group of girls. One technician polished the nails while the other did the artwork. It was expecially nice because it was late on a Saturday afternoon and we had the whole place to ourselves. The nicest touch of all was they had little gift bags prepared for each girl to take home. Each bag contained a small bright color nail polish plus a flavored lip gloss. What 9 year old girl wouldn't love that? They didn't have to go all out like that. I really appreciated that the manager (whom I've never met but I understand her name is Carolyn) was so thoughtful and made sure her staff was prepared for us. The two technicians Cheryl and Josefina were so nice and did an excellent job on all their nails. I will recommend this spa to all of my friends because of the excellent service we received.

Glycolic Acid Facial Peels

I suffered from acne for 7 years. I've taken all the meds - tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, even Accutane, and the topical medicines, Benzacline, Tazorac, and Retin-A. I'd experience some relief when starting a new medicine, but after awhile, the acne would always come back, just as bad as before. As a last ditch effort, I stopped all meds, changed my diet (increasing my intake of organic and whole foods, and eliminating processed foods and refined sugars), and underwent the glycolic facial peels. My skin looks fabolous! Break-outs are rare and my skin is completely smooth. Naturally, I have some scarring, but with each peel, the scars become less prominent. The peel is quick and painless. I would recommend it to anyone with acne, especially at D'elegance Day Spa. I've had five peels, now, and have been very pleased with the results.

My Skin has never looked better! Try RxSystems!

I initially went to D'Elegance for a facial as I was experiencing problems with blemishes...What irony...49 years old, developing fine lines, yet fighting blemishes! It was recommended that I try a new treatment developed by a dermatologist, involving a series of facial "peels" supplemented by the system cleanser and moisturizer. In a little over one year, my skin has never been clearer; I am receiving compliments from friends and family on how great my skin looks; and I even had a large brown freckle (it had appeared in the last 1 1/2 years) completely fade away!

The spa area is in a separate are in the rear of the salon (hair services are in the front) with nice decor. It is very quiet....I do not hear noise from the front salon area....music is playing with a nice water effect and low lighting. I recommend this salon/spa for those who want a quiet, intimate experience.....and for those looking for clearer skin and a more youthful look!
