Apex >Papa John's Pizza
Where's the pizza. This is the place to order your pizza if you want to wait over an hour for a lukewarm pizza. No explanations or apologies from the pizza delivery guy. Next time it'll be Dominos. Corporate complaint coming next.
great deal on pizzas large w/7 toppings or specialty for $10. I usually order a pizza with the same ingredients as their cheese bread sticks... don't know why they won't let me now. It's just cheese and garlic parmesan sauce.... so I ordered the tuscan cheese, hope it's good. Their sauce is usually sweet and tasty, I just don't eat tomato sauce since it upsets my stomach. Dominos lets me order a cheese breadstick pizza without any problems. I wish Papa Johns would.
The Subway of takeout pizza joints embraces fresh ingredients and store-made crusts..
These bright white storefronts are accented with green and red details and photos of the chain's boyish founder. The simple menu focuses on standard pies and chicken-centric specialty pizzas--the Hawaiian BBQ, BBQ chicken, and bacon and chicken club--each topped with fresh ingredients like baby portobello mushrooms and roma tomatoes. A selection of sides includes bread sticks, cheese sticks, chicken strips and a handful of dipping sauces.
Where's the flavor?. I must say that Papa John's pizza make me only want to eat at their establishments: near my home, usually when we travel every city seems to have one, so its familiarity with us, alfredo chicken is different, and their garlic butter dripping sauces really helps with the missing flavor that is much needed. By far there are plenty of good pizza places, but Papa John's pizza is only average & at times is a waste because you pay more than what you get. I've often asked for extra sausages and you get there and they have about 7 sausages & I had the nerve to have ordered two. At times the pizza is way too pricey for the lack of taste. This is just simple pizza, nothing to brag about at all.
