East meets West in this sophisticated bath and body emporium with roots in the ancient arts of Indian healing.. In Short These stores draw from indigenous healing arts and offer feel-good products made from plant-based, often organically grown ingredients. Each location exudes a sense of wellness and balance with tidy bamboo cuttings, simple paper lanterns and spare, open floor plans. A sampling of wares includes body lotions, hair products, all-natural perfumes called ""pure-fumes,"" make-up and remedies for everything from a flaky scalp to droopy eyes.
I love stepping into the Aveda store, it's like leaving the mall and entering a little boutique. The sales staff always offers you some of their yummy tea, adn while they are attentive, they're never pushy. I also live the way Aveda rewards customer loyalty--they are forever sending postcards that you can take into the store to receive free samples. My must-haves are the deep-penetrating hair revitalizer, confixor, and anything that has the classic Aveda scent--I'm mad for it!
