Seriously? The Best Pizza in the Triangle? Not Even Close!. I have tried many pizza places in the triangle, some of my favs include Bella Monica or Amantes, so I figured I would give this a try. We had ordered appetizers and you could tell they were from the freezer, they weren't even cooked all the way! We ordered calzones and the crust seemed as if it were premade, the sauce was very bland almost as if it were out of a jar. Our waitress made a point of telling us how special the sauce was...well there was nothing special about this place. Clearly those who rated this higher haven't been out much!

very poor service at bella italia. I was told it was wonderful well my first time i was not happy poor service. Employees making out in front of customers. I will never be back. I can't wait for mellowmushroom to open.oppaaaa!!!

Best Pizza In The Triangle Area. My family and I have eaten there many times, and is by far the best pizza in the triangle area. I have had the

pleasure of eating at both resturants. The establishment in Wake Forest has wonderful food, but very little atmosphere. It is a place where you can feel safe taking the kids because there is very little to mess up. The other resturant on Durant Road, is much different. Decorated in warm earth tones, and still family friendly....However the atmosphere is much better than Wake Forest.....Both have wonderful food, and we have always had kind staff. I would recommend either resturant ...... they are equally the best.

Never been disappointed!. I moved here from NYC in 1989, I have searched all over for the real taste of NYC pizza, it is here at Bella Italia that I found it! Not just the pizza but the other items on the menu are very good too. Get it by the slice how you like it quick for lunch. You just have to try it to know. Thanks for making this place close by and fabulous! It is worth the wait or drive. It's not fancy just great!

best pizza. I am from NY this is the ONLY place in Wake Forest or Raleigh that comes near New York style pizza. Best pizza in town. allow 20 mins for orders on Fridays dinner hours this place is packed but well worth the wait......love it....

Go for the food, not the atmosphere. We've eaten at Bella Italia a few times, and learned that it's probably best to stick with take-out. The pizza is good and potentially the best in the area, but don't make the trip over there expecting a romantic Italian dinner with your sweetheart - the place has approximately the ambiance and service of a Domino's pizza. Let me put it this way - the lighting is fluorescent. We've had service ranging from obligingly polite to downright indifferent to somewhat rude, but the food is good, reasonably priced, and the menu has lots of choices. So place your order, take it home, and enjoy.
