Come Guys...it is so OBVIOUS! Shamus12321, GeekLady and buchell profiles were all created by the owners in a FUTILE attempt to bolster their reputation through FAKE REVIEWS. If you click on their profile names, you will see that the only review in the history is for this joint. And the sad part is... the food used to be really good, and now, really, really bad stuff going on here!

I love this restaurante. I grew up in a suburb of New York City and I am accustomed to great italian eats. I can tell you right now that Lubrano's is the best italian food in the triangle. I have even served tables there for a period of time and I am close friends with the owner. Like any restaurantes, Lubrano's can sometime have a bad day. But the good outweighs the bad here. I have been eating there for years; since the place opened. One thing that is very special about this place is that they will cook your food exactly how you want it. You can basically create your own pasta dish and add any sort of meat or vegetables to it with any time of sauce. The Pizza is truely delicious with thin and crispy new your style crust. And the stromboli's.... fuhget about it. If you have had a bad experience at this restaurante, just give it another chance. These family owned restaurantes are a rare breed these days and we need to keep them up and running. And another thing, make friends with the employees. They are all really nice people and getting to know they will enhace the quality of your experience there. Favorite Entrees: Shrimp Fra Diavola, Aglio Olio (w/ chicken and broccoli), Shrimp Scampi (w/ Spinach and Broccoli), Arrabiata, Veal Saltimbocca, and last but not least Shrimp Parmigiana. The Pizza is incredible but the strombolis are DANGEROUSLY GOOD.

I used to be a regular at Lubranos because I work nearby. However on my two recent visits I have been really disappointed. During my first visit, my soup was cold and stale and there was a black curly hair in it. The management waved me off when I tried to diplomatically explain (there was a crowd in there). On my second visit (yes, for some reason I decided to go back when a coworker wanted to go there), my pasta was undercooked (think crunchy), the soda was watery, there were 2 errors on my bill, and the place was filthy - the floor, the table was sticky, and there was chewing gum stuck to the wall. It's a shame when a neighborhood place goes downhill like this. I will not be returning.
