long time customer. Ms. Deborah has been cutting my boys' hair since they were 15 months and 5 months old. (8 years!) She was wonderful with my older child even though he screamed non-stop for every haircut for the first 2 years. Now he won't let anyone else cut his hair. Walk-ins are available, but I ALWAYS call first (even 15 minutes before I go). They can get very crowded.

Greatest place for kids haircuts!.
My 6.5 year old son has been getting his hair cut at Kidz Kutz for over 5 years. He loves being able to select a video or DVD, pick a fun chair to sit in and then play in the waiting area which has everything from a slide to a train table (plus a kitchen, dolls and books amongst other things). Of course, if we are early or haven't made an appointment, he gets to play there before he gets his hair cut. To cap it all off, he gets a lollipop at the end.
To put this into perspective, my son was initially terrified about getting his hair cut (due to a bad experience with another hairdresser). Poor Ms Debora and Ms Elise had to cut his hair whilst he held onto MY head (even putting on the cape was impossible). Let's just say that getting his hair cut was challenging and great skills were required! Over time they successfully got him to overcome his fear - to the point where he asks to go there.
Overall I would highly recommend Kidz Kutz. They provide an excellent experience and two very talented ladies. Word of warning though, it's best to make an appointment if you want to get a haircut after school as walk-ins may have to wait a while.
Now let's see how they handle my nearly 10 month old....

Bad experience. During a very busy time of the day I tried to take my 2 year old to get his hair cut. There were at least 10 people in the waiting area. After waiting 30 minutes they took people who arrived after us and didn't even acknowledge us. We left. Prior to this I had positive experiences, but I will not be going back
