Love this place. Best cheese fries in the Triangle! Good food for a cheap price. Don't after 9pm on the weekends - the place turns into a meatmarket.

best sports bar. We Love the Ale House! They have a huge menu. The appetizers are always a good choice. we recommend the cheese fries and boneless buffalo zingers. The prices are very reasonable from the entrees to the booze. Great outside seating and bar year round.

A favorite hangout for young families and feisty sports fans alike, this casual eatery covers all of its bases.. In Short
Sports banners, big-screen TVs and neon signs all say "sports bar," but this beloved hangout--with four other locations in the Triangle--is much more. Families flock here for dinner, relishing the kids' menu and the casual atmosphere. At night, pool tables and an extensive beer selection lure sports fans who love nothing more than a burger, a pitcher and a playoff game. For views of the outdoors instead of the outfield, request a table on the covered patio.

Great place for ADULTS.. I am not sure why places that have smoking are considered family friendly. This is a bar, not really a place to take the kids or pregnant women unless you want to have problems with their health. I guess it is a North Carolina thing, because where I am from, there is no smoking in family establishments.

Don't get the nachos!!. We got the nachos appetizer and I have to say they were the worst nachos I have ever had. They didn't use real cheese! It was a really gross cheese sauce that made movie theater nachos taste good. The sour cream was way too much in abundance and very runny. Also, the chips were really bland and really needed some salt. It was the first time I have ever had to salt nachos. It didn't help, and I ended up sending them back. Our hamburgers were very average, but the fries were pretty good. They were crispy on the outside and soggy on the inside. All in all we will not be going back to eat here again. We tried it 5 years ago and didn't like the food then either but decided to give it another chance. That cinched it for us.

Awesome!. They have an extensive bar menu, with excellent variety so everyone can find something they like. Their regular menu offers general American food, with some fun twists along the way. They offer daily specials that are usually outstanding- their ravioli in garlic cream sauce is to die for! Their beer selection is extensive and they rotate new beers all the time! Their patio is perfect for when you're looking for outside dining. Oh- and they have kid's night on Tuesday so I'd have to say this place is great for the whole family! I usually request Eric C for a waiter- he's cute and awesome!

The worst service. Maybe it's all about who you know since our server usually stopped at other tables that he was waiting on and not ours. The TV's were great since I am a huge sports fan but service was horrible. It was the first time that the server never told us his name and he stood behind you as you ordered, practically breaking your neck to catch a glimpse of his face. Our tea cup remained empty for several minutes and it took 12 minutes to receive dessert after getting his attention by pretending to fall out of my seat. They were quick to remove plates and extra cups as soon as your put your fork down and placed your straw upon the ice but I definitely wouldn't recommend the location that we went to unless you know a server by name.

I LOVE THE ALE HOUSE!!!!!!!!. The Ale House is great to hang out with friends if you are ok with a table. The plates are hot, cheesefries, steaks and spinich dip are awesome and I love the drinks... Adrian is the best server there A few others are close.... No matter where you go there are going to be a few servers who are not on top of their game - just don't tip them as much. Ale house in Cary is an every weekend place for me .. drinks are not that expensive fun to hang out and relax. Pool is popular so if they could they should find a place to put another table... other than that I have NO complaints about the place!

Nothing Special. When I was asked to vist the carlolina ale house I thought it would be a very nice place to have dinner... It wasn't. It was too loud, and the service was terrible. After we tried to order from a waiter that apparently wasnt our waiter they told us to "sit tight and wait for our server" well, we waited... When we finally did get our meal, the plates were scalding as if they had sat under a heat lamp for 10 minutes. At this point the waiter noticed our empty drinks and brought us refills. The food was greasy and the service terrible. For a place to go out for a beer maybe go here, but there has to be a better bar in town.
