Tips for Casa San Carlo

Best Italian food in Raleigh. I visit Casa San Carlo regularly for both lunch and dinner. You won't be disappointed here, the food is terrific. The lunch buffet has a wide selection of choices to try and they are offered 7 days a week. If you prefer something off the menu, you'll enjoy all the traditional classics offered. The Veal / Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Cacciatore, and Penne alla Vodka are just some of my favorites. Save room for dessert. The Tiramisu is the best I've had anywhere!! Carlo is a great chef and wonderful host. He visits every customer at their table and makes you feel right at home.

Can't wait to go back again. I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The lunch buffet is so reasonably priced and the selection is terrific! From the fresh salad to the hot buffet ! Many dishes to choose from so I has small portions of several different items. I can't decide what I liked best. Bowties, meatballs, sausage & peppers, tortellini, lasagna & fresh baked garlic knots ... all were delicious. The atmosphere is warm & friendly. I Can't say enough about it & I can't wait to go back for dinner. If lunch is this good, dinner is going to be great!

Thank God I Found You. I went here last night with my girlfriend...OMG!!! 5 stars isn't enough, beautifully decorated and the food FABULOUS! The bread was freshley baked, I had Pollo Francese (chicken with lemon butter and wine sauce) so good I wanted to pick up my plate and drink the sauce!!!! topped it off with homemade Tiramisu (wanted to kiss the plate!) Can't wait until I get back. If you are eating Italian anywhere else in the Triangle you are just wasting your time.

Carlo has done it again, and even better than before!. We enjoyed dinner at Casa San Carlo last evening. FANTASTIC! As long time customers of his previous establishment, we had wondered where this craftsman had gone. We were thrilled to find Carlo at his new venue, bearing his name, Casa San Carlo.

The Veal San Carlo was outstanding, fresh and incredibly tender. The seafood was delicious, very fresh large shrimp and scallops. The sauces were rich and the flavors were multidimensional. Fresh herbs and vegetables complimented both veal and pasta dishes. And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the array of fresh breads that arrived at our table upon seating. Several different types with delicious toppings and fillings.

The treat begins upon entering Casa San Carlo, the soft lighting, rich aromas, crisp white table cloths and the background vocals of Andrea Bocelli all created an ambiance that welcomed us and surrounded our senses. Add to that the soft glow of the holiday lighting and decorations and it is a warm atmosphere, sure to please!

The new location provides plenty of parking, in a well lit lot. Surprisingly, the prices were lower than they were in the old restaurant! Carlo is delivering hot, fresh, delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. This experience could not have been better!

Thank you, Carlo, we had wondered where you were, and now we know...We will eagerly return to Casa San Carlo!

Cheap Food, Expensive Price. I visited Casa Linga which was owned by Carlo and His wife. I have been in several times at Lunch, and his food vendors were inside. This guy is the cheapest scrooge around. He was argueing about price to the vendors, all of us heard him. He buys "cheap crappy" food and says he can make it good. He told a couple across the table that he is a five star chef and he can make anything taste good. But why would you want to give your paying customers crap food? He's a joke. I tried Casa San Carlo a week ago, and its the same ole "crappy" food at upscale prices. Not anymore! Bye Carlo.

I cannot apologize about your terrible experience at Casa Linga as Carlo is not associated with that restaurant and has not

been for a very long time. I can assure you that here at Casa San Carlo we purchase only the finest, freshest vegetables supporting our local farmers, as

well as importing special ingredients from Italy. Our prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food we serve here at Casa San Carlo.

I do apologize about the way you feel about Carlo. We gracefully invite you to come back so we can prove to you that there is no joke.

Home Sweet Home. I made the sad mistake of eating at Casalinga last week after I moved back to the Triangle and I couldn't figure out what made my favorite dish taste so horrible. Then I was shopping at Harris Teeter and saw Carlo's face and new exactly what was missing, CARLO!!!!

I left my groceries in the car and had to go right in to eat!!! Once again Carlo made me the best Italian food I have ever ate. It feels good to be Home Sweet Home and having a 5 star Chef right around the corner!
