BEST burgers EVER. I am from Texas where it was previously my belief that is the only place to find an actual burger...until I came here! Their burgers are the best that I've had...they are moist and fresh...just how they should be! The atmosphere is nice too: very laid back, low lighting, great place to watch the game. Overall...10 thumbs up!! ;)…
Great Little Burger Joint!. This place has one of the best Burgers I have had since I moved to Raleigh. I haven't tried their wings but my friends that were eating there with me liked them. Mojoe's is in a great location at the top of Glenwood, and they have late night hours in case you get a craving after drinking at one of the many Bars nearby. The Black Flower is just around the corner, and 606 and Brooklyn heights are a little farther away but still walking distance. All in all a good way to either start or end your evening out on Glenwood South.…
Excellent atmosphere.. I am new to Raleigh from the DC area and got lucky on my first trip to Glenwood Street. I parked my car at the top of the hill and was going to walk down and see what I could find, but I heard the sweet sounds of Elliot Smith coming from the cozy little burger joint on the corner. I went in to investigate and discovered $1.50 PBR's! I ate some Spicy wings (not very spicy, but very good). Then after a while I had the build your own Mo burger with PepperJack cheese. It was not the best burger I have ever had, but it was delicious and the price was right. Onion rings were good too. I stayed for two hours (and 5 more beers) just to see what the next song would be on the bartender's ipod! Neil Young, Dead Milkmen, Gorillaz, Hank Williams, I think there was even a Bobby McFerrin song. I think I've found my Sunday night hang out!! Well played Mojo's, well played indeed.…
Horrible Management. My wife went to have a good hamburger to take home. We were sitting at a table, the restaurant was not crowded, but the assist. manager came and asked us to stand while our order was prepared because another couple wanted our table. We declined and left. We will never go there again!!…
WORST burger in town.. Wow was I duped. Though mellow and a fun atmosphere for the most part, sadly the burgers were sub-par to be kind. One reviewer raved about the jalepeno burger, which I tried on that recommendation, must have gotten lucky or you've never had a decent burger before. Mine was spongy, fatty, and seemed like one of those cheapo-pre-fab slabs you get in packets at Wal-Mart. The bun was flat and it tasted like the whole thing had been sitting under a heat lamp for half the day. I'd never go back, and once again Raleigh has let me down with seemingly high reviews for what turns out to be GARBAGE food I wouldn't feed my dog.…
