Great Dental Team!

My family has not been going to Arrick and Associates for that long, but we are so happy to have found this excellent dental team! From the very beginning of booking appointments for me and my kids to meeting the friendly staff that did an amazing job of making my kids comfortable and even excited at their first dental experience. The assistant helped calm my fears and kept me laughing, and Dr. Arrick is a caring and gentle dentist. Thank you!

College Students Unwelcome

If you are in school, expect to pay out of pocket despite having insurance. They had told me over the phone that I would need to pay my co-pay, they would file my insurance, and I would get a bill for the remaining balance. That's what I normally do and exactly what I expected. After I had booked my appointment they asked if I was a college student. Once I told them I was they informed me that their normal billing policy didn't apply to students, the policy for college students was they must pay all expenses up front. I asked to speak to the office manager (Nichole) who said students have a tendency to not pay the remaining balance. I offered to pay them the amount my insurance wasn’t expected to cover or leave a credit card on file to prevent that from happening but that was inadequate. No compromise or payment would suffice unless it was the day’s balance paid in full; it was “Against office policy to file insurance for students”.

Bottom line here is that it’s all Smiles at Glenwood until they know you’re in college. Their office policy makes it clear what kind of clients they want to attract and it doesn’t include those seeking a higher education.

Service! Sincere!! Smiles!! > Satisfaction!!!!

This is one dental office where you don't have to wait, in fact, I've never been stuck in the waiting room more than ten minutes total in 12 years. Once you go back, the staff is extremely professional, gentile, and understanding. They use the latest in technology, so everything is efficient from the dental records to the billing. They happily accept my out-of-state dental plan which is a major plus. The hygenist staff are all well trained and experienced - it shows as they are able to clean our teeth without any uncomfortable moments. Over the years, I've probably been seen by everyone in the office at least once. The decor is especially delightful and free parking in front of the building or the parking lot immediately behind takes the worry out of parking 'downtown Glenwood'. The upscale neighborhood is in one of the classier areas in town.

• Pros: Regular customers for almost 12 years now!
• Cons: A long commute for us personally, but worth the drive.
