Once in a while you find a doctor who truly listens to you. Dr. Phelan specializes in getting to the heart of an issue and taking corrective action. He treats me like I'm an equal business partner in making decisions about my healthcare. In the era of healthy lifestyles and wellness he is a fabulous coach and gets results fast. He is my personal advocaate for a healthy lifestyle. Life doesn't get any better than this!

A True Healer

Dr. Shawn Phelan is a true healer. He considers your total body, mind and spirit when diagnosing. Dr. Phelan sometimes treats you with chiropratic methods when they are indicated but will also suggest that you may need to make lifestyle changes if they are needed to help your condition. My entire family trusts Dr. Phelan to help us with our health issues. He has helped us many, many times get well and feel better with his approach to healing. An honest chiropractor!

Dr. Phelan will tell you the truth about your situation without coercing you into coming in for adjustments when you don't really need them. I have been to TWELVE chiropractors in my lifetime and he is the FIRST one to ever suggest to me that my back and neck pain may be the result of something other than subluxations. In my case it was inflammation from food allergies. He encouraged me to try an elimination diet and my pains have gone away. He even suggested physical therapy from a different provider to further aid me in my recovery. Now, that is what I consider an honest doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Phelan. His adjustments are effective and used as needed. There are no contracts to sign, no scare tactics used, just straightforward honesty about your condition and helpful suggestions to regain your health. Dr. Phelan is very knowledgeable about diet and nutrition. He answered every question I asked him and pointed me in the right direction for doing my own research on many topics related to my health. Dr. Phelan relieved my back pain when no one else could

Several years ago I had such bad back pain I could hardly move. After going to my PCP and not getting any lasting relief he suggested that I see Dr. Phelan and I finally got the relief I was looking for! Dr. Phelan is very caring and knowledgeable in all aspects of health care. He not only helped me with my back pain, but he also helped me with a thyroid problem. The staff are always professional and friendly. I highly recommend Wake Forest Chiropractic.
