Avoid this place, take your loved one somewhere else. Took Mom here to look the place over and I am not impressed. First off, the massive buy in fees are not affordable by most people but I guess it is how they keep out the people they don't want. Privacy is an issue too as all the units are laid out such that there is always a lot of traffic moving past the resident's rooms plus almost all room do not have a private shower. Also, and I know this sounds bad, but (on the day I was there), all the employees are foreigners who have thick, thick accents and are hard to understand. Mom is 90 and wears hearing aids, I can only imagine how hard it would be for her to understand these folks. Plus, nobody I saw seemed happy there, nobody was smiling at all! The dining room staff were all speaking Spanish too, a language my mother doesn't understand.

On top of that the monthly fees of 7K-8K are steep and all you get for that is 3 meals a day. My impression of my visit is that they are more interested in money than in caring for the residents. I quickly crossed Glenaire off my list and took Mom someplace else.
