really disappointed. In response to "disappointed". I happen to know that Jack Astor's lost two of their best front of the house managers around that time. I'm sure the hostess was doing the best she could under the circumstances. Jack Astor's is closing on July 30 anyway. Too bad. It used to be a fun place to eat. RIP

disappointed. First of all , I can speak on the food because we didnt make it that far , but the front service was HORRIBLE .

A group of seven of us arrived for a birthday dinner .. we were told the wait would be thirty minutes ... we could have decided to go somewhere else , but we had planned this decided to stick it out . After seeing numerous parties of five or eight or nine go in and be seated and wait 40 .. yes , 40 minutes one of us proceeded to ask if our table would be ready anytime soon ... we had a movie to get to in a hour and a half . One of the hostess then told us the table wasnt ready or close to being ready and we asked how was it a table of eight able to walk in and sit down ... her response was that they had eight people and not seven like us . forget that the fact we had been waiting for 40 minutes . we went next door to sweet tomatoes and had a fabulous meal !

Delicious!. This almost deserves five stars! Food was awesome! I had grilled meatloaf and my boyfriend had chicken tenders. Both delicious! After bringing me my food, it took a few minutes to get his (about 7 minutes??). That's why I'm only giving four stars. We ordered the fresh baked apple pie with vanilla ice cream (you have to order 20 min in advance). It was awesome! A little noisier than I expected but not enough to be bothersome. Definately a great place to watch the game. I've never seen so many TV's in a restaurant!

Poor service. Went there last Saturday night to enjoy a late meal. We were sitting in a non-smoking section but had to ask smokers to move several times. When we complained to the manager we discovered that the person smoking next to our table was the manager!

50/50. If you're sitting in the bar side the service can be quite terrible, if you do get a table though I have always had great service. The food is always hot and tastes pretty good.

Great place. Went for dinner on a busy Friday night - great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and great service!! Our server was amazing, he suggested meals and drinks that were some of the best we've had in this price range and was quick to fill our every need before we even asked

Great place, all around. Jack Astors is a very cool place to go and eat outside or inside. The Far Side comics posted up all over are great to read while waiting, and the whole place has a funny and sarcastic thing going on.

The food is good, I haven't had anything bad there yet. The drinks are good, and they have some unique Monster drinks for pretty good prices too. Outside seating is the best if you like it.

Great bread, great patio and good food!. We just had a great meal at Jack Astor's on this beautiful spring evening. The patio is very nicely decorated and the cushion chairs are VERY comfy.

What a nice place to enjoy a meal while enjoying the lovely NC weather. The free Garlic Pan Bread was delicious, as usual. Our server was also nice, knowledgable, and attentive. We'll certainly go back more often than we had before :)

Good food, decent service. I ate here with a friend, and we had a good time. The salad dressing that i chose- a balsamic vinaigrette- seemed a little weird, but very tasty. Both of our meals were good, I had a chicken dish that was fresh and well-seasoned. My only complaint would be that the server seemed slightly disinterested, but it was for a late lunch, and he probably just wanted to go home- which I can completely understand! Overall, a very nice experience.

Best Wings in the triangle!!!!!!!!!. Jack Astors bar and grill is Ahhhhhmazing. There wings are to die for and there burgers are out of this world!!!!!! Plus if you are a Lifetime Fitness member kids eat free!!!!!! The staff is very polite and hospitable!!! It is my family favorite resturant!!!!!!
