China CaryGreat food - staff is super nice!. The staff is nice, family owned business. I have been a customer for three years now, and have never been disappointed. My entire family loves the food, the place is clean, and it's always good! We try something different once in a while (we have our favorites - General Tso's, Sesame Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken) and every time we try something new, it's really good! You just can't go wrong. And, because they are so nice, I go back again and again. Best Chinese food aroud! Freshly made too!
Now, if they would only deliver.... My experience with Chinese takeout restaurants over the last 40 years is that they are fantastic in the beginning and once they have their customer base the food goes downhill whether it be they hire a cheaper chef, cheaper ingredients, or whatever. This is the first Chinese take out that has stayed consistently good since they opened years ago. I never have to worry about the quality of their food, no matter what I get. I haven't ordered anything yet that I haven't liked or that wasn't fresh. If they would only deliver they would be absolutely perfect.
Tasty Takeout.
This Chinese restaurant is just your average take-out place, taken to the next level.
The dishes are hot and served in a virtually spillproof container.
The service is fast and reliable, and ready when they say it will be.
Their Mooshu beef is a highlight, as they take it to the next level by adding
mushrooms, and the perfect amount of heat.
Just great.
Great Carry Out. China Cary is our favorite place for carry-out. Whether we take the time to call ahead or just walk in and order, we have never been treated with less than respect and courtesy. The food is fast, well-done and very tasty! I can't remember ever ordering a dish I didn't like.
WORST EVERYTHING...AND THAT IS BEFORE THE FOOD EVEN CAME OUT!!!. I have never experienced anything like this....horrible atmosphere unless you are a mexican construction worker...then you would fit right in, or unless you speak spanish or Chinese...otherwise, who knows what is going on?!?!?! The young woman taking the orders was more concerned with what was going on outside than what I wanted for lunch and the place was so small, there was no where to stand, let alone sit and eat a nice meal. Every other person in the restaurant stared at my sister and I was if they had never before seen a female in the flesh - it was like being in a circus freak show!! I got my soup, or whatever it was floating around in the bowl of oil, before getting anything to drink then the waitress made a huge scene and swore i ordered a canned soda and not sweet tea. She then made me pay an extra dollar to get my own ice out of a bowl with tongs off the bottom shelf of a fridge in the dining area ( no telling what germs were lurking in that bowl) after which i attempted to drink what was perhaps the worst tea on earth. I could barely swallow the first sip. If the tea is bad, i am afraid to try the food; therefore, I took my "tea" and "soup" to the counter and asked for my money back. The counter person and two cooks proceeded to yell and cause another scene and told me that my food was ready and i had to eat it. I kindly asked to have my money refunded 3 more times before one of the cooks told said "easy" to me as if I were the one causing a comotion. All the while, all the other diners (mexican construction workers) starred just as they had done from the minute we walked into the door. I do not recommend this place in any way shape or form and i honestly couldn't tell you how the food was because i refused to eat it after the way we were ogled and treated.
