We have been using the Cleaning Authority since September. After a friendly consultation with the owner, Will, we decided to do a bi-weekly clean to start with the intention of moving to a weekly schedule once rapport has been established.

With each cleaning, we have experienced issues and have come home to problems in the home. Following our last cleaning, we are missing matches to at least 3 pairs of earrings. Every day after work, earrings are methodically placed in a bowl. After the clean, several pairs of earrings did not have their match. While I do not believe they were stolen, I do believe they may have been knocked over and either swept away in the garbage or vacuumed up.

This is not the first time we have had issues. After different cleans, we have come home to a broken lamp, a missing half of a design feature in the home, a bent stove coil that no longer stays securely attached to power source, a broken piece of a 2000+ year old statue, bleach stains on two rugs to name a few.

I know the ladies work hard to provide clean home for families. I appreciate their hard work. However, after several months of service, I do not believe the level of detail and care are matched with our needs and cannot recommend them to other homeowners.

A great company to work with!. I've had nothing but good experiences with The Cleaning Authority. They cleaned our house for several years before the economy tanked, and now I've been fortunate enough to be able to hire them back and the owern, Will, is still a delight to work with. If there's a problem (and any problem has always been very small and due to my personal preferences) Will is very responsive and accomodating. I'm happy to have such a clean house again!

Terrible Experience. Please do not hire the cleaning authority. Will Owen, the owner, will take advantage of you and personally assure you are disappointed and cheated. He is not someone you should do business with. If I could give no stars for this review, I would.

Unresponsive and disorganized. We had a nice guy come round and give us an estimate, but when I called him back to say that we would like to go ahead and book their service, he didn't call back. I called again twice. Eventually they did return our calls and said that the earliest time they could manage was two weeks away. We said OK, and made a booking. The day came and they did not turn up. We rang to talk to them about it and they said that we were not even on the computer. They seem very disorganized.

Broken items. Stolen jewelry. Decent cleaning.. I used the Cleaning Authority for several years. I've had some things broken in the past, but now I've had $500 worth of jewelry stolen. On the few occasions that I've had a problem, such as something broken or this last time with stolen jewely, they would either call me at work really late after I've gone home or call me at home before I left work. Definite avoidance. No problems have ever been resolved. They never paid for anything that was broken. With the stolen jewelry, I'm really upset that I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone. I definitely would not recommend them.

Great service!. The owner, Mark, came to our house and was very professional and courteous. The people who came to clean our house did a very impressive job. Our house couldn't have been any cleaner! The cost is reasonable considering everything they do and the peace of mind this service gives us. I would highly recommend this company.
