I am a regular at Tanas in Leesville, however my usual stylist was unavailable and I was booked with Tanaya (spelling?). I have never had a haircut in less than 15 minutes until now. When I first told her what I wanted done with my hair, it was as if she didn't hear anything I said. This was a common theme, I would talk to her but she had no interest in listening. My hair wash was rough and the water was cold the entire wash. I'm honestly not sure if she even washed my hair because the entire process took about 1 minute! When the time came to cut my hair (as she cut most of it dry before the wash which is unusual), I was told to stand. I stood for my entire haircut. After my hair was dry (and my neck was sore from her ripping through my hair the entire drying time), I told her ways I liked it styled and once again she did not listen and did nothing to style my hair. I have been to many nice salons with very talented hair dressers, I have never witnessed service that this specific hair stylist gave in all of my salon experiences. I suggest booking with any other stylist at this salon.

I went to the Leesville location for the first time today and I was so pleased! Chris did an excellent highlighting job! So happy I finally found my hairstylist :-) I definitely recommend this salon!

Becky Ponziano - the BEST!!!. I have been going to Becky for years now. She does a fabulous job with my highlights and is always so friendly. I have to say that Tanas, overall, is the best salon experience I have ever had. Everyone is welcoming, the place is always clean, and the service is impeccable. I had a pedicure done the last time I got my hair and felt horrible for the woman who was doing it because it had been so long since I'd had a pedicure. She did a fabulous job! I've also had a few massages done here and was very happy with them. The only downside of Tanas are the prices which might be a little higher than you would pay elsewhere. But, you know the saying: you get way you pay for. I highly recommend this salon, especially Becky!!!

Tanaua. Tanaua us by far the best hairstylist I have ever come across. She is always up to date on the latest trends. After leaving the salon I get countless compliments on my hair. Tanaua -The Hair Whisperer. Tanaua at Tanas on Leesville Road is hands down the best hairstylist in Raleigh. You can tell the minute you sit down in her chair that you are in the hands of a pro. She truly has the "Gift" for doing GREAT haircuts & color. She has been my hairdresser for many years now and I can't imagine letting anyone else cut or color my hair. I have made many referrals to Tanaua over the years and everyone is amazed at how talented she is. I even have one friend who comes in from Michigan every 3 months just so Tanaua can cut/color her hair. She saw how cute my haircuts were over the years and wanted to try a new style and got hooked on Tanaua after her first haircut/color. If you need a new style or just need a new stylist, go see Tanaua.

Mercedi is fantastic!. I have been going to Tanas since moving to Raleigh from out of state. The salon was recommended by a neighbor, and I am so happy that I took her advice.

Mercedi is without a doubt one of the most talented stylists who I have been to. I go in with a few ideas of what I would like to do with my hair, and she always gives me advice as to what style/color/cut would work best with my hairtype. I have NEVER left disappointed in what she has done. She is fantastic! I often get compliments on my hair, and I always happily tell them about Mercedi!

Would never go anywhere else!!!. I have been a Tanas Hair Designs customer since they opened. I have always been so pleased with the services at Tanas. The reception staff is always helpful, friendly and accommodating to my busy schedule. People often stop me and ask me who does my hair. I am so lucky to have someone as knowledgeable and talented as Jack to do my hair. He is always courteous and polite and very professional with customers and staff. I have always been extremely pleased with the services I have received over these many years. I would never go anywhere else and everyone I have referred to Tanas has been just as pleased as I have. If you are looking for a Salon/Day Spa experience of the highest quality I recommend Tanas Hair Designs!

Rita is an Excellent Electrologist!!!!. I am so thrilled Rita Wainright has returned to Cary! I am a true believer in Electrolysis. I was a client several years ago before she moved out of the area and I’m delighted she is back practicing in Cary and Raleigh. Rita is a very knowledgeable and skilled Electrologist. I was very pleased with her sensitivity and gentle touch. My facial hair has been gone for 5 years now, just a few touch-ups every few months. NO MORE TWEEZING embarrassing hairs. Thank you, Rita!!!

Tanas is like family!!. I have been going to Tanas for about 10 years and have had many different stylist cut my hair. I have finally settled on Nadia and she is more than great!! She has up to date, practical ideas for my hair and lifestyle. She’s always warm and brings a smile to my face. I am writing this to let everyone know that if you looking for a snobby place to get your hair cut this is NOT the place for you. Tanas has been my home and always makes me feel warm and welcome. If you need consistency with class, dependability, and practicality then look no further!! I love this place and keep Tanas and all the stylist close to my heart!

LOVE Tanas!. I love Tanas! I've been going there for years, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is always so friendly, and the atmosphere energetic and fun.

My stylist (Nadia) is great b/c she knows my hair and what will look good on me. She pushes me to go outside my contort zone, and I'm always grateful afterward, b/c my hair looks great and different every time!
