I Love My New York Pizza2316 Hillsborough St Ste 102, Raleigh, NC | Directions 27607
35.787707 -78.666648Im a former New yorker, love the pizza, taste like home, took my woman here and she's from north carolina and she loves the pizza as well......no complaints so far, sorry that mostly everyone on here had a bad experience............
Barley qualifies as pizza.
If you are broke college kid or you happen to work at NCSU than you can make the excuse to eat here(ever once in a while). However, if you don't fall into of those categories then you are fool to spend your money here.
I bought 2 slices yesterday and they both had holes in the middle of them(WTF). All the while the lazy, sketchy, pedophile mustache having employees are sitting on top on the sinks looking at me like they just squirted all over the dough.
Stay away and go eat somewhere else on Hillsbrough St because after all there are other options.
ROACHES.
While I was eating my pizza, a roach crawled right over my foot and ran behind a door.
Not coming back here!
Silvia's.
Parked behind Silvi'as to grab a slice. It was late morning and found they had not opened yet. I strolled over to Brugger's for a bagel instead. Went out to my truck and it was gone.
I was towed because the "spotters" saw me go over to Bruggers. Both parking lots are behind the businesses AND adjacent to each other.
Cost me $100. So now I will find every online avenue to trash Silvias. If I can share this craziness AND do a few bucks worth of business damage. . so much the better.
Stay away from this place. I went inside for a pizza. I stayed about 45 minutes. I went to the parking lot and my car was gone. This pizza store called Atlantic towing and had my car towed while I was inside eating pizza Atalantic Towing towed my car to the Atlantic towing lot. Stay away from this place. These people are theives.
It tastes like a slice of home!.
It is awesome to find a good Pizza place in Raleigh. Former NY'r here who loves this place.
Mellow is ok but over priced, while I love, gives you good pizza, priced well!
They should check their attitudes though, sometimes I think they are trying to go for the authentic feel....
Don't bother. Really, it wasn't worth going over there. It looks like the real deal but isn't. Not sure if it was just an off night considering the reviews it has received. If you are looking for NY pizza Assiagio's is much better. Take it from a New Yorker. I haven't tried many NY style pizza places in Raleigh, but am continuing to search.
Food is OK but nothing special. Food here is alright I guess, it's just what you're used to everywhere else. Can't really knock them for anything but it's the same thing you get at all the other "NY style" knock off places around the country.
Best Pizza in Raleigh, Possibly NC!. First of all, the name says it all NEW YORK pizza. That means it will be thin crust (dough made fresh daily hand flown) and little to no tomato sauce. I would rather not eat pizza than eat bad pizza, this is GREAT pizza!
Best NY Pizza in NC. If you want authentic NY style pizza this is the place to go! I have been to this location and the Wilmington, NC location both are great!
