Kerry Catherine Jewelry provides its North Hills guests a wide range of custom choices and combinations for all styles in each of our collections. Since we can’t offer all custom combinations at North Hills, we’re able to offer custom sizing and alterations using the latest and best technology available, while servicing our jewelry and other’s at a reasonable cost.

Your gift was from our Sedona collection and is a substantially made sterling silver cocktail ring with a hand hammered texture, recently nationally featured. We had only produced two Sedona rings for our North Hills store during this holiday season, both in a standard size. Due to the Sedona Ring’s thickness, width, large stone size and hand-hammered finish, and in order to ensure the integrity of its craftsmanship; it can only be sized by a laser welder and not by traditional jewelry practices.

We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you the great experience that brought you back to us and will do our very best to make sure you receive the experience you deserve and the assistance you need, without pressure.

NEVER AGAIN!

My relationship with Kerry Catherine Jewelers ended today. I have been a customer for a number of years having purchased earrings, necklace, rings for my wife. She prefers silver to gold and I found nicer custom silver pieces there. The ring I purchased this Christmas was on the lower end of prices in KCJ $365. I had to wait for several minutes to get the attention of the older woman (from Tennessee) while shopping and lost her help several times to phone calls from friends and people stopping in to say hello. On finding the ring, she insisted that I not worry about knowing the size because my wife could bring it in for sizing. Also if my wife did not like it, she could get a store credit. I bought the ring and thought things might improve when the computer confirmed I was a returning customer. I asked for gift wrapping but had to intervene when the ring was laid on a foam pad and put in a cardboard box.

I asked that the ring be put upright in a proper ring box.

My wife liked the ring and we stopped in today to have it sized. The same woman waited on us in an empty store. After some curt answers to my wife's questions on wearing the ring on different fingers, we were directed to the counter to sign off on the sizing change. We were then told it would be $95 charge, since they would be using a laser. I told the woman that she had sold me the piece and not mentioned any charge amount relating to sizing. This amount is not large on it's own, but represents 30% of the price of this particular ring. The woman response was that they would also charge to remake the ring in a different size. She then went on about how every piece is unique (though in this case there are two identical rings in the store). My wife frowned and asked to browse the store while considering whether to have the sizing done. To our surprise, a moment into browsing the clerk, annoyed, asked us for a decision in order to clear her computer transaction. The store was still empty! I told her she should leave everything alone while we browsed and decided (merry f***ing xmas). A minute later we told her we'd keep the ring as is. A bad taste in our mouths preventing us from imagining another interaction of any kind with the woman or the store. We may have the ring sized, but will find another jeweler. Never to visit Kerry Catherine again!

The Absolute Best Custom Jewelry Experience in Raleigh..

Let me start by saying this review is long overdue and I've been meaning to write it for quite some time. I am honestly not sure if I have ever written an online review about anything, but the experience I had working with the staff at KC warrants it completely. My journey started as a completely clueless boyfriend looking to find an engagement ring for my girlfriend of the time (now fiance') around the beginning of 2010. After fumbling through quite a bit of internet research, i made my way over to north hills to check out kerry catherine's store (still clueless on the whole process) and get some face time with a real jeweler. That random decision would turn out to be the best I made throughout the whole process! Kerry and Vicky took the time to sit down and educate me on the whole process of custom designing a ring from scratch. No hard selling, no gimmicks, and they did so without a shred of proof that i was even remotely interested in buying anything from them. This was extremely refreshing and after examining some of Kerry's work, I knew that I wanted to move forward with using her as my designer. I'll keep the story short, but KC stayed after hours on multiple occasions for me to work with her one on one to create the perfect engagement ring over a period of time. I was able to select the perfect diamond out of quite a few that she ordered for me to choose from, and every design detail that I had in my mind for the ring she was able to put onto paper and eventually develop into the actual setting. The finished product is absolutely amazing and my fiance' Kathryn gets compliments on it everywhere we go. She was blown away that I had "designed" a custom ring for her that was one of a kind, something I could not have imagined doing at the start of the whole process.

If you are in the market for any kind of custom or just uniquely designed jewelry, i highly reccommend visiting KC to experience an unmatched level of customer service and expertise that compliments amazing jewelry products. They have made me a friend and customer for life; looking forward to writing another review about my experience designing Kathryn's wedding band in 2011!

Thank You Kerry Catherine!

I purchased the engagement ring and our wedding bands from Kerry Catherine Jewelers and had nothing but the best experience.

Though our purchase was not extremely expensive, she took a great deal of time to go over our choices and to make us feel as if we were her only customers.

Yes, the engagement ring took time, but it is a handcrafted, one of a kind piece of art and this is expected.

We financed our purchase with the Jewelry store, paid 50% up front and paid for it 6 months.
