worst experience. OMG... UGH!!! I'm getting married in the up and coming year and looking for a dress has never been so difficult!! Maggi Bridal was the third shop I went to and I was very disappointed! I heard about Maggi on the radio but all the manager talked about was her girlfriend! Despite having heard this I wasn't going to rule out the shop all together. I entered and they are renovating the shop so scheduling was difficult. The new owner Amy was very pushing and kept talking a lot and she seemed so fake. Not only did I not get anywhere in my search for a dress but the new owner was pushy and her voice was very high and annoying. No progress on the dress, pushy management, and I'm happy to say I will never be going there again!

Today I went into Maggi Bridal to try on wedding dresses for the first time. I must say, it was the perfect experience! I called ahead and made an appointment and had the whole store, and both Amy and Lauren, to myself.
The gals were very attentive, really paid attention to what I wanted, and their personalities compliment each other very well. They are young and on the cutting edge of fashion and design, very knowledgeable about it all, yet professional and clearly know how to run a good business.
I was very self conscious about trying on wedding dresses, but Maggi Bridal made it easy and comfortable. I'm glad I went there first, rather than to a large chain where my experience (buying bridesmaids dresses and going with friends shopping for bridal gowns) is dominated by places with stressed out attendants, too much noise, and too much pushing for a sale.
I highly recommend Maggi Bridal, I'm sure I will be back to buy my dress.
The one caveat might be that, since it's a smaller store (which, overall, I consider a huge advantage), their style collection is slightly more limited than a large store. Still, they have plenty of options.
Under New Management. Amy at Maggi Bridal is wonderful! She has taken over the shop and is renovating the store and its reputation. I needed to find a specific bridesmaid dress to try on and through the chaos of remodelling she still scheduled me an appointment and was more than helpful and accomodating. She has a degree in fashion, and had some great suggestions. She shared her vision for the shop and it sounds like she and her partner have great plans in store. When my sister made the decision of which bridesmaid dress she wanted, I did not hesitate to call Amy to order it. Not only did she remember me and the dresses I had tried on, but she gave me the best price I had seen for the dress. I would recommend Maggi Bridal to anyone and think you will find the new owners to be a breath of fresh air.
AWFUL!!!. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received at this shop. I honestly don't think I have ever been treated so poorly. I entered the store, which was completely empty, with two of my bridesmaids. The sales representative was in the back room and took her sweet time coming out to greet us. I told her we wanted to look at bridesmaid dresses and she said she had too many appointments and could not help us. We looked at the dresses on the rack for approximately 15 min writing down styles we like....meanwhile absolutley no help from this sales women..We then went out to our vehicle deciding where to have lunch for approximately another 10 min.. no other customers entered the store until right before we left ...does this place make so much money that they can turn business away and treat people so rudely? That horrible women could have helped us in that 25-30 minute time span and would have obtained a new customer...apparenlty this place doesn't need my business or yours for that matter.
Great Experience. Had a great experience ordering bridesmaid dresses from Maggi Bridal. They didn't have the dresses that I was looking for in the shop itself (the shop is small), but Toni was great about ordering them and following through.
Terrible customer service!. I was extremely disappointed in the costumer service I received before even entering the bridal shop. I have been specifically looking for gown by a specific designer. I called to try and see if the store carried the gown and try to make an appointment to see them. The women on the phone seemed to be extremely annoyed to answer my questions and refused to let me set up an appointment while on the phone with her. I was in the middle of a question when she just said I can't talk and hung up on me. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend that everyone else does too. They need to work on time management and costumer service, because hanging up on a to be client is no way to gain customers and become a reputable business.

I read the reviews on Maggi's Bridal over a year ago. Because of them...I WOULD NOT GO. Due to a foul up by another "reputable" dress shop I ended up at Maggi's.
My first visit to her, I went with one of My Matron of Honor's. I was expecting the worse. However, that is not what I got. I received excellent service.
I will admit that Toni doesn't jump and down and giggle like a school girl, but that's what you bring people for. I didn't need an appointment to see her and she had exactly what I was looking for. She's quiet, soft spoken and helpful. Not to mention the price she quoted me for my wedding gown was excellent.
Due to some horrible circumstances, I had to postpone my wedding. Months later, after I rescheduled my Mother came to town and I was able to bring her Maggi's to see the dress I picked out. Toni didn't remember me from my first visit. She honestly told me that when the date of a person's wedding nears...she removes the information that she received from them because she assumes they are not coming back. That made perfect sense to me. I told her why I never came back and she was nice and sympathetic. My Mother (also a quiet woman) told me that she thought she was lovely and couldn't understand all the negative reviews.
I went in to see her months after that to actually order my dress. (A mere 2 1/2 months before my rescheduled wedding date.) I thought there was no chance that I would be able to get my dream dress because I waited so long. Well, Toni told me not to worry but we had to act fast. And she did. I tried on the dress again and she was on the phone within minutes. I heard her ask the person on the other line more than 5 times, "OK...you will be able to have it HERE by the end of the month?" I couldn't believe how many times she asked. She was making sure that I got what I wanted.
In addition to making sure about my dress, she explained to me why she had to order the size that she ordered. She didn't have to...I've heard for many years that wedding dress sizes are never the same as what you typically wear. She even talked to me about weight loss. I told her that I was losing weight and she was extremely honest about how much I could lose and still be able to have my dress fit (with alterations of course.) I could not believe how helpful she was. When talking about alterations, she gave me a price and I was pleased. I heard about alteration prices from other...again..."reputable" bridal stores and they were outrageous. So in answer to someone else that said Toni didn't even discuss an alteration fee....you should have known there would be an alteration fee. There typically is.
I received a call from Toni telling me that my dress would be in much sooner that even SHE anticipated. I'm sure that was due to how hard she pushed to have it ready for me.
To sum up my experience. Toni was wonderful. She isn't a young, giddy little school-girl there to jump and down and scream with glee at how cute you look in your dress. If that's what you are looking for...watch a WE TV wedding show. A wedding is real and you want someone serious to take you seriously. And that is what Maggi's Bridal is all about.
Good Bridal Shop. Though there is an obvious language barrier, the lady is actually really nice and means well. She struggles in the small talk area, but was very helpful with dresses and scheduling. The dresses arrived in a good length of time and everything was well taken care of. I'd recommend.
Thank you to former customers. I just want to thank all of you who took the time to write a review about this bridal shop. I'm the Maid of Honor in my best friends wedding. I want our experience for her day to be fun and memorable in a good way. We were quoted a price on a Jim Hjelms dress that seemed a little to good to be true. I wanted to do some research on this shop to make sure it was legitimate. Your reviews were so helpful! We are not going to waste our time. Thank you for taking the time to warn us all so that we can avoid the drama you all experienced.
Be kind to your bridesmaids...go somewhere else.. She really is as bad as everyone is saying. The personification of poor customer service. Don't do that to your girls, find another shop to work with or select another dress.
