My letter to them after I received their food...

by BKW1 at Citysearch

"Nick, I just ordered a pizza from you 107 xxxxxx in Cary and it was my first time trying you out. It was by far the worst pizza and wings I ever had in my entire life. The wings were extra crispy and crunchy, and half the cheese was sticking the the top of the box. I will broadcast this on FB and Citysearch since I had such a horrible experience with your food. By the way, the crust was cooked unevenly too soft and too hard in the middle, and your sauce is much too salty."

and they have the nerve to call themselves NY pizza! What a joke-

Best NY Pizza Around.

by ntnoles33 at Citysearch

I went into Johnny's a couple weekends ago and ordered a large pie (18''), easily the best crust around and everything thing else on it was fresh and delicious.

Since then I've ordered 10 wings (awesome) and a 12'' Super Italian sub (awesome).

Not to mention the great service from Johnny and his employees. This place gets 5 stars for seriously good pizza.

Great Philly cheesesteak, average otherwise

by crosscountryopinions at Citysearch

This place has the best cheesesteak in the area. It's by far the best thing on the menu. However, it's best to get it as-is on the menu. I've tried to customize toppings and every time it comes out wrong. If they could get that right, I'd be back a couple times a week -- for now I've given up and am seeking good cheesesteak elsewhere (haven't found anything comparable). The rest of the menu is pretty average. It's a very simple pizza shop inside -- basic but totally functional. Johnny is really great -- a very nice guy, engaging and interesting.

  • Pros: Philly cheesesteak
  • Cons: other food

Best Wings in the Triangle!

by mpail at Citysearch

Went to school at RIT in Rochester, NY. Hands down best wings I've had since leaving upstate New York! If you like NY Style Pizza, theres is also very good. Loaded with toppinps and nice thin crust.

Only thing that needs to be improved is their beer selection. They only have a few bottles (4 or 5), which is fine, but they are all American Pilsners or Lite Pilsners. One exception to this is an Italian lager, Peroni. It is very good, but they REALLY need to add another beer with a little more character. Yuengling Lager would be my choice.

Aside from that, GREAT place to go.

  • Pros: Wings, Wings, Pizza
  • Cons: Poor beer selection
