Still great after all these years. I am surprised at these reviews, our family has been going to this restaurant for @ 6 years at least once or twice a month, if not more. Never had a bad meal, servers always pleasant and I find the prices average. Just tried their new taste of Italy on Thursday- we loved it. It was $11 for all you can eat pasta and pizza. We had salad and dessert too. We will definitely be back on Thursday nights!

Overrated and overpriced. The pizza is ok, not great. The last few times we got takeout the pizza was way overcooked and the calzone was just alright. It's a shame because the quality used to be much better. While it is New York style food, Venero's wouldn't stand a chance if it was in NY instead of NC.

terrible. I just came back from Venero's for the last time. I've given it too many chances. As a New Yorker, I find the food completely substandard and certainly not up to the quality of New York's excellent cuisine. The pizza was greasy with hard and dry crust. And the garlic knots were dry as a bone. There either is no pride in the food, or the employees are simply patronizing the local clientele who has not experienced how wonderful pizza in NY actually tastes. Given its high prices, this place is not worth visiting even once.
