simply good. A short review, Spring is here and enjoy good pizza and super selection of beer. Best hang out during lunch among med aged adults who hate cooking on sunny nice day.

Mellow Mushroom Wake Forest. Pizza is delicious and so is the meatball sub. The beer is not cold enough for me and they do not have frosted mugs...

Outside dining is great! Inside is a little loud but the large tv is nice during football season!

Worth the wait?. The pizza and salads are awesome. Good flavor every time we eat there. Food is consistently good and there is a wide variety of beers to choose from.

Parking lot has about 10 spots and there is no place to wait for a table. You have to hang out for up to one hour or more for a table!

Highly overrated. The issues with parking, and the arrogance of the manager make this place not worth it. The pizza is okay, but the trade-off isn't worth it.

Best Pizza Place. This is the best place for pizza in raleigh. Unfortunately everyone knows it, just try to get in on a Friday night. The parking is terrible there but the food more than makes up for it once you get it. This place is overrun with college kids though.

Good pizza, chill atmosphere. There's a lot to look at on the walls, etc. Cool hippie mama type waitresses. Basically like most Mellow Mushroom's--not the coolest/biggest one I've ever been to though. Best time to go is in the Spring/Summer when you can sit outside on the patio. Eat a salad with Esperanza dressing, or just dip your pizza in it. It's SO tasty! Decent pizza...Lily's is still the best pizza in Raleigh though.

Lively Atmosphere - Blah Food. This place was hopping when I went. I'm not sure what all of the fuss was over. Our Pizza was a crust with butter on it and a pool of goo in the middle resembling cheese. People I talk to say it's heavy and I'd have to agree. When that goo entered my stomach I was regretting it for sure. Lots of nice beers on tap though and a cool patio. I wish the food didn't make me feel so bad :)

Awesome Vegetarian Options, and DELIVERY!~. Very cool, theres a ton of things I can order here, being a vegetarian. I really love the Tempeh subs, and the mega veggie pizzas. A cool tip for if you are eatin out on a buget is to order the hummus w/ pita wedges with a side of sprouts, tomatoes, banana peppers and onions. That way u can make lil veggie pita sandwiches! Fun! Also, thru Raleigh Take Out dot Com, u can order from them to be DELIVERED right to your house, and avoid the wait! Super awesome!

Overall Enjoyment. This place has some of the best pizza you will find in Raleigh.. I love the fresh ingrediants and the crust is to die for. My friends and I always look foward to our regularly scheduled trip to Mellow Mushroom. The staff always seems friendly and accomodating. They are really great for groups as we go as a large group as well as a good family atmosphere. You have a choice to sit inside.. on a covered patio, or on a open canopy patio as traffic drives by.
