In Short – Considered one of the best preserved examples of a civic building with Greek Revival architecture, the NC State Capitol stands in grand style in downtown Raleigh. The building originally housed the governor's office, cabinet offices, legislative chambers, state library and state geologist's office. Visitors are welcome to tour the building.
