Still a lover of Kemp's. I've been going to Kemp's from the day they opened their doors and even though they have gone through some changes I still love them. In fact, I'm impressed that they continue to out perform the chain restaurants. Their quality of seafood seems fresher and the amount you get is always more than you seem to be able to eat. And as always they have great customer service. Give them a try if you haven't been there in a while or are new to the area. You'll become a fan too!

Sorry to say, but WON'T be dining here again.... In the past we enjoyed dining at Kemps. However in the last couple of years it's changed so much and then changed back... In the process of all the "Change" they also went up on their prices, and kind of went down on quality.

We hate to say it but this last visit was very depressing. We brought our two sons and found that it's really not family friendly as it was in the past. We ordered our oldest (6yrs old) a childs shrimp plate. His plate was the same size as our adult plate which was twice the $$, we should've just ordered kids plates for $5 instead of an adult plate for almost $12. The shrimp tasted like it had been sitting under the warmer for quite a while, not like it was fresh from the fryer. Very unusual quality for Kemps we thought. We also purchased drinks (sweet tea) and was going to just fill a sippee cup for our younger (18 mo) child but the waitress insisted on bringing a small cup of tea for him (with a lid of course). They charged us $3 for the small cup. I also ordered a small side salad to go with my plate which should've been free but they charged me $3 plus another $1 just for 1 mushroom sliced and a handful of cheese. Come on folks... I kindly pointed out a couple of these issues to the waitress but she was really not able to help except that she just omitted the $1 for the cheese and mushroom on the salad.

Now, we are willing to pay extra $$ to eat a nice dinner but the quality of service along with quality of food ended up being a waste of money.
