Best Pad Thai in Town. Always get the shrimp pad thai and it never fails to be awesome. Fast service for carry out, and nice decor for dining in. A must visit if you love Thai food.
We love Thai food. We went here last night not knowing what to expect. What we recieved was wonderful. We got Tomyum Noodle, Spicy seafood. It smelled fantastic.
Very good food & cool decor!. Really nice decor. Try it before crowd. Very convenient location in the middle of Triangle. Food is really excellent.
Best Thai 5 years in a row. That's true..
I just move here from LA. I have tried many Thai restaurants in LA. I come here to Triangle and never believe that I can find a authentic Thai like Sawasdee.
I love to be here for lunch on Capital and dinner on Glenwood. Lucky for me, they have 2 locations
Use to be good now is HORRIBLE. I have been to this place over 60 times ever since it has been open. It was good. I don't know what happened, but I think the management is worse. I called in and ordered carry out. It was a special. The woman was rude and rushing me off the phone. When I got up there I could feel her negative attitude. This was the manager too! When I got back to work the order was missing the spring rolls and they informed me they dont include thos anymore on carry out. My dish had three little pieces of chicken in it. The liquid part was greasy. basically it tasted really bad! I doubt this place will be open another year if they keep serving this way. When I called up there they didn't even care. They just said "I will tell to mamanger" This place took a dive for the WORST! Never again. $9 for carryout with nothing really in it!
Best Thai Food in the Area. If you're looking for good Thai food, you can't go wrong here. Service is attentive and friendly and the dishes are superb. Try this place for a great food experience.
Bad Experience.
I was visiting Raleigh and this place came highly recommended by a local. I ordered thai ice tea, fried spring rolls, and three-flavor grouper. The thai ice tea and spring rolls were OK - nothing special about them. Now the three flavor grouper - the fried fish was swimming in sweet chili sauce. It wasn't good. After several bites, I found a bug in my food. After showing my plate to them, I was told that it was possibly from the rice. But come on, really? Why would they suggest it, if they didn't know about it? And they still serve food in this place?
They tried to offer me a different dish. But after seeing what they may possibly have living in their kitchen, I couldn't bear stomaching it.
I then asked for my bill. Can you believe that the owner/manager was going to charge me for the entire bill? How would you feel if they asked you to pay for the bug-infested dish? The owner then realized that it wasn't right for her to do that so I only got charged for my drink and spring rolls.
All I can say is that this place is not clean and the food is less than average. Did I mention that the price seemed a bit high? Don't eat there if you can avoid it. If you decide to disregard my opinion, pay attention to any bugs before taking another bite. It may be there in your food.
The BEST. The Best Thai Restaurant in Raleigh.... Keep up the great work....
Very disappointing. After much anticipation - yuck. The hot appetizers were cold. This should have been a sign of things to come since we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Will definately not recommend nor go back nor visit the new location. There are way to many really good Thai restaurants to waste time with this one.
