NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!. Went to Rock & Roll, hearing some really good things about them well that want true at all. I went saturday night to get my tounge done well it was 2 days latter I called them to let them no I needed to come in and them look at it well I got told there was going to be nothing they could do before 3-5 days well I called another tattoo shop and went to them so they could look at it for me well I been at the ER tonight with a bad infection in my gums and my tounge so now I am on 2 diffreant meds for this I would not recommend Rock & Roll to anyone....

Comfortable, clean and satisfying.. I got my first tattoo at Rock & Roll Tattoo, hearing many great things about it. When I stepped inside, everything looked real nice and everyone in there made you feel comfortable. No one was judgmental. Everyone in there felt like family. They were honest, giving helpful advice and they were real patient. Kyle did real well on my first tattoo that I came back two days later for a second. I highly recommend Rock & Roll =)

not so happy. so ive been wanted to get a tattoo for a very long time and for being my first tattoo n for being clueness im not happy at all w the tattoo n i guess thats my fault but at the same time isnt the artist job to help u n give u some feed back?? i just got it done like 3days ago i went to the shop as a walkin the guy was very rude and with a pissed off face but i still smiled and was nice. i went with a pic n i explained wat i wanted but i guess i was to anxious n to nervous that i just went along with wat he said. he took the pic took like an hr to draw it and when he showed me wat he drew it came out ok but i thought it was to small n he charged me 120 n he said if i wanted it larger it would of been more. well he placed the tattoo on my hip n like i said i did like it but i dunno i guess bc i wanted it so bad i just didnt compare my pic with wat he drew. he told me to lay down n he started. it hurt like a b*tch and after he was done i dunno i just didnt feel like he took his time w it. my bf wasnt around to give me his opion about the price and the picture he showed up when he was done when he saw it n saw how much they charged me he was pissed. now that i look at it i see that the lines are even straight its all messed up the part where its suppose to be colors they arent even all filled and to make it worse when i got home and saw the pic that i gave him which was in my computer it wasnt the same to wat he drew. =( i was so disapointed and now thats all done i realize wat i did wrong but at the same time it sucks bc as artitst they are suppose to enjoy wat they do and not rush it. when he was done w it i didnt say anyhting i dont know why i kept my mouth shut i guess cuz thats how i am lol not tryin to say this shop is bad but i guess to make ppl realize that u have to really becareful wat tatto shop u go to but al that matter. now i have to go to another shop and pay double so they can fix what he did =( but its all good

To UNPROFESSIONAL lisa P. When you come in at the end of the night and it is clearly busy the smart thing to do would be to set an appointment for the following night. instead you came in two more times before setting appointment knowing that the nights are busy. As for the 45 min you waited it was probably more like 5 min your impatience and your attitude that you projected towards my co-workers was more than likely met with an unwillingness to converse. When you decided to set your appointment for Monday morning you were almost 45 min late so I moved to my next client. When you did come in, you projected towards me the same impatient disrespectful attitude you previously had with my co-workers. I started out polite and ask you to change your tone and when you continued to disrespect me and asked for 40 dollar discount an already under priced tattoo, I treated you with the same respect I was given. To further prove your unprofessional, unadult like attitude you called the Raleigh police department to retrieve something that you obviously printed from your home computer even the officer was amazed at your inability to act like an adult and your waste of the police departments time. All that being said I am still willing to work things out for you if you can come in with a patient respectful attitude, the friend that referred you still does. Thank you and have a nice day.

rock-n-roll. i had my first tattoo at rock-n-roll this past Friday it is a gud place to go to it was fast and the people workin there are very nice rob did my tat he did a gud job waitin to go bak and get another one

UNPROFESSIONAL WILL NEVER STEP IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. I had the worst experience in this place!!!

I went to this place this past weekend, Friday night they were busy, went back Saturday night and took almost 45 mins for anyone to help us and answers questions, then we were told they were booked until 4 am and we need to come back....Sunday night we called and they told me and my friend to come in so we drove about 40 mins to get there, My friend picked out her tat and was getting hers done, i picked mine out and was ready, the Girl that did my friends tat was not friendly, could not even strike a conversation with her and was not making us comfortable, then all the sudden she tells the lady woking at the front that She needed to get someone else to do my tat bc she was tired and did not feel good, everyone else was booked in the place and fred(By the way the only nice person in this shop) knew I was upset and knew this was our third time there offered to give me a 40.00 discount on the tat I wanted and set me and apt yesterday with Kyle that says he is a manger, so I arrived to my apt about 5 mins late, he had a attitude when I walked in, Did not even know about my apt he claimed then when I tried to tell him about all that happened, he was VERY rude and told me he would not give me a discount no one should of said that he calls his own shots, (Cursing at me, treating me like I did something to him and being a ass) I let him know to I could go elsewhere and ask him to give me back my print out that I paid for and brought into his shop and he told me it was his property now and balled it up and throw it in the trash! I left and will not return to this shop, My friend that referred me called him and ask him what happened and I guess he felt like a ass and lied!!!! they are unprofessional and rude and do not post signs all over your shop for us to leave reviews when you do not know how to treat your customers!!!!!!

best in the biz!!!. I have been wanting to ge my back covered in lettering for about 6 yrs now. Needless to say i was hesitant because my tattoo artist from the usmc days passed away and i hadnt found another that i trusted.

Untill a friend introduced me to rob at rock and roll in raleigh. after meeting rob i could tell that he was confident and knew what he was doing. rob covered my entire back in old english lettering it was quick and perfect. the dude has hands like a surgen! thanks rob

Fantastic Shop!. Being a small business owner myself, if you had a "bad" experience, I would think you would talk to the artist first instead of jumping online and trashing the place. I've had a few rather large and involved tattoo's completed by Rob and LOVE the work! One is an orig 40's pinup I brought in which he added a bit to really bring the piece out.. the other was a wedding photo of my Mother and Father from 1952 which he did FANTASTIC! NAILED IT! From the expression on Dad's face to the sepia tones from the orig picture... NAILED! As previously stated, the atmosphere is relaxed, no pressure to get ANYTHING done and the prices are comparable if not less than MOST shops in town (without lowering the "quality" of the work).

Awesome experience, awesome people. I have been to Rock n Roll several times, and have had 12 pieces done by Rob. Every time it's been a great experience. He took all the time he needed to make sure everything was exactly how it needed to be, with my ideas, and his input so they look the best and work anatomically. I have a full sleeve Rob did, and several other large pieces that all turned out really well. I worked in a location where a LOT of people saw my tattoos on a daily business and I referred a lot of my customers there because of the overall quality of the tattoo work and the great atmosphere in the shop. Go there and check it out!

I won't go anywhere else, the best tattoo shop in Raleigh!. I have been going to Rock n Roll tattoo for 6 years and I won't go anywhere else. Rob is an amazing artist, very nice and professional. He has done pinup girls on each of my sides and they look amazing! I even had Rob touch up tattoos another artist have done. Don't take the chance or waste your money going anywhere else! All of the artists at Rock n Roll are professional and will make sure that you get exactly what you want and your experience at rock n roll is the best!
