In Short – The 234-acre wooded setting provides a wealth of recreational opportunities, including brisk hikes, bird watching and organized sports. The park's young children's playground has a small tot lot, and nearby is the better-appointed kids' lot. Visitors can amble along a short nature trail down to the water--there is a paved loop through the woods for the stroller crowd, and families with older children can take advantage of miles of trails within the park.
