What People Are Saying About Frazier's

In Short – Frazier's provides adult refuge in the midst of a college strip. Dark wood wainscotting and muted lighting warm the interior, while local artwork adds some pizzaz. The intimate space fills quickly, but customers don't seem to mind waiting at the bar for a table. Expect a select menu that contains interesting, seasonal ingredients. The bone-in rib-eye is positively primal, but undeniably savory with a blueberry veal reduction.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Upon request, chef's tasting menus are available. They run around $35.
- Parking:
- College areas are notorious for towing, so be careful. There is public parking available at the intersection of Chamberlain and Logan Street.

Our server added a nice 'tip' to our bill that we failed to notice until the day after.

Fraziers has closed & the company that owned it is putting a new place there. They will serve tapas & small dinners.
The best in Raleigh

I can't imagine the people who wrote negative reviews are eating at the same restaurant. Jeffry, the head chef is outstanding! If you are looking for meatloaf and mashed potatoes, you should look elsewhere but if you are interested in elegant seasonal fare, then this is your place.
My wife and I have been coming here regularly and all our "foodie" friends agree that it's the best restaurant in Raleigh. Make sure that you set your mind for a relaxed dining experience - not that the pace is slow - it's just that you will want to savor every bit and every sip. You will find the menu varied enough to account for wide tastes but it is not vast. The selections are obviously prepared with great care and served with equal attention.
Don't miss the duck and goat cheese gnocci - it's the stuff dreams are made of - if you dream of fine food.
Frazier's is like having The French Laundry in our own back yard.
- Pros: Creative and delightful menu, excellent service
- Cons: NONE!

Have been twice and love the experience and food both times. Unbelievably accommodating. Still dreaming of the dinner I had there months ago!

Great dining spot!

I've been hearing about Frazier's since I moved down to the Triangle but never made my way over there. I finally got to this past weekend and it was fantastic. Not only was the food tasty but also creative. The service was friendly and prompted. The portions were a great size and the price was cheap compared to a lot of the higher classes restaurants in the Triangle. An overall great dining experience and I am looking forward to eat there again.
- Pros: Service, quiet, creative dishes
- Cons: parking
